Science Fiction

Studying the natural world of
Classical elements that be four.
Intelligence and ignorance,
Effects are results of causes.
Neglected by man or not,
Creation of the universe as order
Earth and all in it we interact with.

Fanciful stories we tell of
Imaginary folks and places,
Captivating your minds,
Thoughts and emotions.
In times of lax or activities,
Other realms of such tales
Now live with and around us.

Imagine

With heavenly glory
You call us Yours
By grace and mercy
Love you freely give

Divine joy and peace
You are God, not we
Long-suffering are You,
Yet judgments still true

Your thoughts are high,
Loftier than mine.
Your ways are far above,
Imagine them I cannot.

Back in February 2016 I started writing this poem. I had posted it as an unfinished poem and today I revisited it. Here is the final blog version.

Writer’s Block

We all stumble. We all fall.
Sometimes a block is the cause.
A writer knows this the best,
For he will stall just because.

A writer’s block is the worst.
It’s not others that will fall,
But his own ideas will burst.
For he does have a strange call.

After his stumble and his fall,
Like the winds of space and time
New ideas will change his block
Into an awe inspiring rhyme.
