If I told you there is an answer,
Would you want to hear it?
If I told you Who has the answer,
Would you want to ask Him?
If I told you it requires a reply,
Would you want to voice it?
If I told you that you must reply,
Would you want to seek Him?
If I told you where to find it,
Would you want to read it?
If I told you you’ve heard it before,
Would you want to knock on His door?
And allow Him into your life?
So that you can live your life to the fullest?
Who are we?
When is it enough?
What does this all mean?
How are we to understand You?
Where do we find the true purpose of life?
How do You reveal Yourself to us?
What does Your love mean?
When is it sufficient?
Who are You?
[This is my first pattern poem. I hope to do more in the future.]
[This poem is directed to God the Father and Christ the Son. Thus, to answer the “Who” questions: line 2 – We are God’s creations, created in His image (Genesis 1:27); line 10 – You are Christ Jesus, the Son of God, the Messiah, our Redeemer and Saviour (John 1:1-5; 3:16-17).]
