Winnipeg

Water in the rivers flow about,
Ice on the streets freeze the route.
Never a dull moment here,
Nor a tonne of glee we see.
In Winnipeg, there’s a lot of fun
People do pretend to have,
Especially in subzero degrees.
Gosh, what else can I can say about Winnipeg?

Another fun and silly poem. Winnipeg is the closest I have to a home town. I was born there and lived my first nine years there. One day I’d love to go back and actually participate in all the fun activities and festivals Winnipeg hosts year round.
